You will hear the clack of a platen, the soft curse of someone scraping a copper plate, and instructors like Chris explaining drypoint technique with the patience of a surgeon. Students range from curious beginners to obsessive printmakers who come for the presses and stay for the quiet critique. There are classes, rotating shows, and open studio hours that attract figure drawers and people who like their learning hands-on. Parking is surprisingly easy for this part of town. It can feel tidy and slightly ragged at once, a working studio more than a museum. If you time it right, Free Fridays mean the press is yours from noon to four, and the ink is still warm.
