ICEBAR Orlando

Walk through the warm Fire Lounge and you realize ICEBAR Orlando is less museum and more themed nightclub with frostbite-friendly theatrics. The Ice Box is a brilliant gimmick executed well: everything you touch is carved from ice, the cups clink like tiny glaciers and staff bundle you into fur-lined thermal coats so you can laugh at cold for a few minutes. Later you bleed warmth back into the Fire Lounge where a DJ spins pop and a smoked old-fashioned tastes like ceremony. It is equal parts novelty and nightlife, a tourist siren on International Drive that also doubles as a rentable party room for conference groups and bachelor nights. Locals treat it as a one-off night out; visitors treat it as an Orlando must-do. The sculptures refresh regularly so repeat visits still offer surprises. This is a place built to be photographed, toasted, and remembered, not savored like an old neighborhood bar. Go for the spectacle, stay for the absurd contrast of Arctic design in the Florida humidity.
